Andy's Story​

Andy Schleck was born on June 10, 1985 in Luxembourg.
During his career as a professional rider (from 2005 to 2014), he won the Tour de France in 2010 and was 3 times best young rider in the Tour de France.
He is the son of former runner Johny Schleck and the brother of Fränk Schleck, also a professional cyclist.

    Giro d'Italia

    At 21, Andy finished 2nd overall in the Giro d'Italia and won the best young rider classification. 

  2. 2008

    Tour de France

    Andy finished in 11th place overall and was the best young rider on the Tour.

  3. 2009

    Flèche Wallone

    Andy becomes 2nd behind Davide Rebellin.

  4. 2009

    Liège-Bastogne-Liège

    Andy wins the Doyenne, Liège-Bastogne-Liège after 20 kilometers of solo effort.

  5. 2009

    Tour de France

    Andy becomes second in the general classification and best young rider.

  6. 2009

    National Road Championship

    Andy becomes Luxembourg road champion.

    Tour de France

    Winner of the 8th stage leading from the Station des Rousses to Morzine-Avoriaz.

    Tour de France

    During the 9th stage Andy takes the yellow jersey for the first time. He wears it for 12 days.

    Tour de France

    Winner of the 17th stage leading from Pau to the Col du Tourmalet.

  11. 2010

    Tour de France

    Andy is declared winner of the general classification of the Tour de France 2010 and wins for the third consecutive time the white jersey of best young person.

  12. 2011

    Tour de France

    Winner of the 18th stage starting from Pignerol in Italy and arriving at the top of the Col du Galibier. Andy stands out in particular with an attack 60 km from the finish in the Col de l'Izoard.

  13. 2011

    Tour de France

    The day after his stage victory at the Col du Galibier Andy put on the yellow jersey at Alpe d'huez.

  14. 2011

    Tour de France

    Andy finished second overall, ahead of his brother Fränk and behind Cadel Evans.

  15. 2016

    First Bicycle Store

    In February 2016, Andy opened his bicycle shop in Itzig, Luxembourg.

  16. 2018

    Škoda Cycling Ambassador

    Since 2018 Andy has been a ŠKODA cycling ambassador.

  17. 2022

    Second Store at Mertert

    In 2022, he opened the 2nd bicycle shop in Mertert, Luxembourg.

Since the end of 2025, Andy has stepped into a new chapter as Deputy General Manager of Lidl-Trek. Back in the WorldTour, he continues to shape the sport he loves from the inside.
He works across both the sporting and business sides of the organisation, supporting riders, staff, and management as the team continues to build its long-term ambitions.
