In order to promote the active and soft mobility as well as electromobility, and thus to make mobility sustainably cleaner, the Luxembourg government has decided to apply the reduced VAT rate of 8% (7% until December 31, 2023) to the sale, rental and repair of bicycles, including E-Bikes.
Our bike prices will be adjusted accordingly!
In addition, the subsidy for the purchase of a bicycle or an electric bicycle (pedelec-25) remains valid for Luxembourg residents until March 31, 2024.
Private individuals are entitled to a subsidy amounting to 50 % of the cost of the vehicle excluding VAT, without exceeding EUR 600.
In addition, some municipalities offer additional aid, which can be combined with that of the State.
