ASC Musel Gravel Ride

Gravel, good vibes, and great company.

The Gravel ride is meant to be a SOCIAL Ride (avg speed around 20km/h)

We ask that for your own safety and that of your fellow riders, you:

• Respect the local Traffic Regulations, traffic signs, traffic lights, and other road users.
• Point out hazards on the road to following riders.
• Ensure your own safety and speed control with mind on the task.
• Ensure your bike is well maintained with brake pads & tires checked for signs of wear.
• You should not join the group if you only have 1 brake in working order.
• You should have a puncture repair kit.
• Wear a hardshell helmet at all times, as well as appropriate cycling gear/footwear.
• Road, CX, gravel bikes only (no Fixies)
• Ride on the right-hand side of the road, no more than 2 abreast, and please do not overtake on the right or through the middle of the 2 riders in front of you.

You should also respect the pace set by the Captains who aim to bring everyone around safely and without incident, no crashes, people getting dropped or lost, etc. If unsure about your group riding ability, please come and see the designated captain before the start of the ride.
