Sales representative at our new shop in Mertert

Job Overview:

ASC sales representatives are tasked with guiding customers through their purchasing journey and offering them the perfect bike match. Our sales represenatives have to be ready to ask the right questions and be equipped with the best listening skills. At no point do we want our customers to feel pressured, but rather empowered to make a smart choice for themselves. We expect all staff to be up-to-speed on new bicycle technology, clothing, accessories and best sales practice, so they can better assist the Hero aka the customer, in making the right purchasing choice for them.


  • Greeting customers and providing customer service
  • Asking questions to determine the type of bike a customer needs
  • Answering questions regarding available inventory
  • Learning details of all merchandise and remaining up to date
  • Continuous professional development opportunities
  • Researching new bike technology to better handle customer requests
  • Answering calls
  • Performing general store stock maintenance
  • Arranging ‘test drives’ for customers before they buy
  • Building good relationships to ensure future business
  • Booking in Servicing appointements

Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of sales experience
  • Excellent people skills
  • Passion about bike technology
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Language requirements French and English. Luxembourgish and German are considered an advantage.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in bike sales
  • Knowledge of general bike repair and maintenance
  • General sales experience
